APViewer 1.2.4 uploaded

I have just uploaded APViewer 1.2.4 to AppStore, waiting for approval. It is now compatible with iOS7.

I have added a few minor functions:
Select/deselect all during edit mode
Show/hide image name

Fixed the issue (I think...) when you are scrolling and rotating, the image would go into some other pages.

I have tried to improve the performance and memory problem. It should be slightly better now.

  1. Thanks for the app! One bug I noticed is a problem when zooming and then scrolling. A good feature to add would be the ability to hide the iPhone status bar while viewing photos.

  2. Clarification: the problem with zooming and scrolling only occurs when attempting to scroll to the left.

    1. Thanks for the tags suggestion. I will definitely think something around it. Just a bit confused on the suggested export feature. Do you mean to export the images, or export only the file names?

    1. Hi Taylorlee,

      http://shadowlow.blogspot.co.nz/2011/08/apv-help-guide-version-10.html
You can refer to the guide: Following step 3 and 4. Then on step 5, instead of select the "Add to...", you should select the files in the list, and select "Save to..."

  7. Thanks for making this app, it's great. The best one I've come across of the 15 I've just looked at. I have a couple questions for you... I'm doing a few presentations in a few weeks and I'm thinking of using this app to view the pictures I need to show my audience, because I can customise exactly what they see as opposed to the built in photos app from Apple... I'd really appreciate it if you can answer the following questions:

    1. If I'm using this for an extended period of time, will there be any unexpected notifications pop up?

    2. Is this the full version? Would I need to pay for a full version after a given time?

Thanks again for making this. If you get back to me soon I'll write you a lovely 5 star review, because the work you've put in definitely deserves it.

    1. Hi Alex,

There is no pop-up or any other restriction on the app. So to answer your questions:
      1: No pop up
2: Yes, it is the full version.

Initially, I built the app because I needed a photo app myself that I could manage the photos easily.

There is a plan to add more features via in-app purchases and are entirely optional. However, none of these have been developed yet.

I have been delaying the update (this current version is meant for iOS 7) due to priority in life.

  8. Hi there,

Just wondering if you are planning to update APViewer to be compatible with IOS 11?
Would be much appreciated as it is the only simple photo viewing app that has 'child-proofing' options and a straightforward interface!

    Cheers

    1. Hi,

Sorry about the late reply. I am in the middle of developing the new version of the app that is compatible with iOS 11. I will try my best to make it available within next 2 weeks.

    2. Great! Thanks, man. Came here hoping you were planning to update your app.
As a curious aside: is there any way to enable the app to view gif files as well?

    3. Hi Dennis,

The new version should be available now.

I will explore the possibility of supporting gif files.
